Becoming You: The Strategy Beneath the Strategy
We spend so much time thinking about what we want to achieve. The business, the relationship, the confidence, the visibility, the next level. We create the vision, set the goals and work out the strategy.
But there is another strategy running underneath all of that. The strategy beneath the strategy is you.
Your identity, your beliefs, your conditioning and the subconscious patterns that shape how you think, feel and behave. They influence what feels possible for you, what feels safe, what you believe you deserve and how much of yourself you are willing to show.

You can have the best strategy in the world, but if the woman underneath it does not believe she can hold what she says she wants, resistance will usually appear somewhere. It can look like procrastination, overthinking, people pleasing, hiding, perfectionism or constantly changing direction.
We often mistake those things for a lack of motivation or discipline. Sometimes the answer is not another plan. Sometimes we need to look beneath the surface.
That was at the heart of my Becoming You workshop at Womanifest Ignite. I wanted women to look beyond What do I want? and begin asking a deeper question:
Who am I being in relation to what I want?
Because transformation is not always about becoming somebody new. Sometimes it is about removing everything that has been layered on top of you: the expectations, the fear, the conditioning and the identity you created to fit in, stay safe or keep everyone else happy.
That is where empowerment becomes liberation. When you begin to recognise the patterns that have been running you, you create the opportunity to choose differently. You can rewire limiting beliefs, build greater self awareness, regulate your nervous system and reconnect with the person underneath all of the noise.
From there, things begin to shift. You make clearer decisions, you trust yourself more, you become more confident in being seen, you stop forcing what no longer fits and start creating from a place that feels more aligned.
Your goals need a strategy but they also need you and sometimes the most powerful strategy you will ever work on is the woman underneath it all.
